51. Shiver Me Timbers

Isadora shifts nervously as you consider her proposal. On one hand, you aren't exactly keen on being her test subject. On the other... well, it does sound kind of hot.

"Alright," you nod, ignoring your pokegirl's relieved expression. "So, how do we do this?"

The Witch smiles. "Just give me a minute to get everything ready. Um, could you, uh strip first? Don't want to tear anything, after all."

Oh, is that all?

You take your time, smoothly taking off your clothes and pretending that you don't notice your Witch's staring. You pull each piece off one by one, swaying in a seductive manner as you perform your strip tease. Well, at least you hope it looks sexy. Dammit, how did Red make this look so easy?

Judging by her flushed expression, your pokegirl seems to like it, anyway.

Once you're done, you lie back on the bed, content to watch as Isadora scurries through the room, muttering to herself as she does... something. "Ok, just, uh, relax, ok?" the Witch instructs you, waving her wand over the bed. "If you, uh, don't feel good, just let me know."

Just as you're about to reply, you find yourself frozen in place as dark, ephemeral tentacles emerge from the shadows and wrap around your limbs. You give them a quick test, straining slightly to see how strong they are. The magical bindings feel... squishy, almost. They stretch like rubber when you pull on them, snapping back into place the moment you relax.

"You alright? Any discomfort? Is it too cold?" Isadora babbles, fretting over the bindings. She taps one of the tentacles with her wand, causing it to squeeze a little tighter. You grunt in discomfort, and the tentacle immediately relaxes.

"Feels better now," you admit, shifting a little to get into a more comfortable position, suddenly aware of how your body is bound spread eagle across the bed. "So, what's next?"

"Ah, right!" Isadora perks up and rushes towards the bathroom door. "One moment, I need to get changed!" Your eyes widen. "Hang on, don't leave me-" the door slams shut before you can finish. Dammit Isadora.

Well, not much you can do now. You lie back and try to relax, your mind racing as you go through your plans. Honestly, you're not sure what to do about Ana's situation. Most tamers would have given up and sold her by now and truth be told you can't really blame them.

Visiting a bunch of shrines and temples to find someone who could exorcise the ghost would take a lot of time and money, and most tamers don't have much of either to spare. Not for a single relatively common pokegirl, anyway. Surely there had to be a better way...

Your thoughts are interrupted as the bathroom door opens, revealing Isadora in all her glory. The Witch is dressed in a pair of skimpy back lingerie as well as a large hat and.. is that an eyepatch?

"Yo ho ho, me hearties!" she rasps in a deep voice, leering at your naked form. "I spy a wench! The evil Captain Blueballs is going to show you what we do to stowaways around here!"

... really? Captain Blueballs?!

[] Just play along. You know how much she's been looking forward to this
- [] Act up the part of an innocent young girl and beg the terrible pirate not to ravage you
- [] Act like a dirty little slut and beg for it

[] Tell her to stop
- [] No role playing, please
- [] You'd rather be the one on top
- [] Forget it. You're not in the mood anymore

50. Naughty Witch

I think we'll stay here for the night. We are still in a bit of a hurry, but it's late enough we shouldn't really try making our way further.

Perhaps spend some time with Isadora, try and convince her (and ourselves) that we're alright, both physically and emotionally (though being emotionally alright might involve some... bedtime comfort, If You Know What I Mean).

-----------------------------------

After the events of the past few days, you decide that you need to have at least one night without worrying about ferals or bandits or whatever problems you might find out in the wilderness. The bedroom Father Uriah shows you is small, but comfy, with a cute little bed taking up most of the space.

Tonight you decide to spend some time with Isadora. While you don't have any official schedule set up for taming and what not, you think it's important to spend some time reassuring your oldest pokegirl and making sure she's alright.

The Witch sits on the bed, dressed in the fluffy pink pajamas that Brianna had handed over to her earlier. It's a size too big for her, but your pokegirl looks adorably awkward, as if she's not used to wearing something so girly.

You smile, leaning forward and giving her a quick peck on the lip. "You look lovely, my dear."

"So..." she hums, leaning back nervously. "Are you... are we... uh, well..."

"Do you want to be tamed, Isadora?" you gently ask. "I know that you don't need to be tamed just yet. If you just want to lie down and cuddle, that's fine too."

"N-No, I don't mind, I mean," the Witch bit her lip, staring at you through lidded eyes. "Do you mind if we try something a little... different?"

You cock your head. "What do you mean?"

"Well..." Isadora draws out the word, her lips twitching upwards. "I've been thinking... maybe it might be fun to try mixing a little magic into our sessions. I've got a few ideas to try out..."

[] No. Absolutely not.

[] Sure. You don't mind giving it a shot.
- [] A modified Blinding Curse that acts as a blindfold
- [] A Shadow Binding spell to keep you from moving
- [] A modified healing spell that turns pain into pleasure
- [] Magical shadow cock? Magical shadow cock.

49. Exorcism

[] Exorcism ritual. Force the Ghost out of Ana's body immediately. It will place a lot of stress on your pokegirl's body, possibly even killing her.
----------------------------------------

"... and you're sure that this is safe?" you can't help asking, staring at the intricate design that the pokewoman was sketching onto the floor, dipping her bandages into a pot of strangely pungent paint and using them as makeshift paint brushes.

The Bandame scowled at you. "Look, just relax already, would you? David knows what he's doing."

The priest beside you sighed, shuffling through the papers in his arms. "Brianna, be polite. She has a right to be worried about her pokegirl."

"If you say so," the Ground/Ghost type shrugged, turning back to her work. "Alright, I've got the Heavenly Binding Sigil set up. Should we stick to the usual Spirit Ward or do you have something else in mind?"

"Hmm... maybe we need to adjust the runes a bit more..." the priest mused, frowning thoughtfully as he glanced towards the (thankfully unconscious) form of your Woodmouse. "I'm not sure if a normal ritual would cut it."

As the pair conferred over a thick sheaf of notes, you took the time to look over your poor possessed pokegirl. She looked almost peaceful now, asleep in the middle of a circle of runes. You really hoped that this thing worked.

"Alright, I think we're ready to begin," Father Uriah announced. "Miss Blue, if you would step outside the room for a moment..."

You nodded, already making your way towards the door. The priest had explained that it was better if there were as few people around as possible, since the ghost might decide to jump to another person's body if it realized what they were trying to do.

Pacing outside the door was pointless, but you felt... twitchy. A part of you couldn't help going back over the last few days, wondering how much of the current situation was your own fault. If you had signed up to travel in a group, if you had simply taken the main road, if you had turned back at the river... if, if, if.

You shook your head. No point getting stuck in past regrets. It wouldn't change anything in the here and now. Instead, you pulled out your pokedex. Might as well keep Red updated, after all. It took a minute or two to get a signal, and even after she picked up the call you had to strain to hear her voice behind the static interference.

"-llo? Can you hear me? Blue, is that you?"

"Yes, it's me. You alright there? There's a lot of static on the line."

"Oh, sor... I'm in... here... it's so cool. They got..."

"Red. Red? I can't hear you. Red!" Dammit, the line got cut.

A moment later, you received a text message.

Sorry Blue. I'm exploring some caves now! The signals really bad. cbl?

What the heck was she doing underground? You sent her a quick reply, promising to talk to her properly later before sighing and putting away your pokedex. Not much you could do at the moment. Your other girls were tucked away safely in their pokeballs. After the events of the last few days, you don't know if you're really ready to talk to them just yet.

Suddenly, a loud, piercing scream filled the air, emanating from behind the door where the exorcism was taking place. You shuddered, wrapping your hands around yourself as you tried not to think about what was going on back there.

You hoped that Ana was alright...

----------------------

"I'm sorry Miss Blue," the priest said gravely, wiping off the blood dribbling down his nose. "We tried our best, but it seems like the two of us alone didn't have enough power."

"Damned thing's sticking to the mousegirl like a limpet," Brainna grunted, keeping the possessed pokegirl wrapped up tight in her bandages. "Mind trying her pokeball?"

Fumbling slightly, you pulled out the correct pokeball from your belt and pointed it towards the still thrashing pokegirl. A flash of light later, and she was gone. The Bandame slumped in relief. "Sheesh. What a mess."

"Indeed." Father Uriah sighed, wincing slightly as he rolled his shoulder. "It seems that removing the ghost will require more... drastic measures. You should take her to a church or shrine with an expert exorcist, preferably one with some strong ghost or divine pokegirls to back him up."

"Do you know any places like that?" you asked, trying not to cry as you stared at the pokeball in your hand. To think that Ana was stuck as a... a prisoner in her own body. It made you feel... well, really freaked out, to be honest.

Some tamer you turned out to be. Your very first trip into the wilderness, and this is what happens.

"None anywhere nearby, I'm afraid." the priest answered. "The Church's presence is rather weak in this region. I know that there are shrines and such that you can visit, but I've never gone to any myself. I'll pass you a letter containing some of the details of this case. If you find someone who can deal with this, I'm sure they'd appreciate the extra information."

"Thank you... for everything. I... do you need payment, or..."

"No need for that," Father Uriah said, waving off your concerns. "As a man of god, how could I possibly turn away someone in need?"

"We won't say no to donations, though," the Bandame snorted. "So what are your plans now, girl? You heading off straight away or do you want to stay here a little longer? I don't recommend travelling the roads at night. Even if you try sticking to the main road, it's all too easy to get lost."

You...

[] Head out immediately
- [] Fast, Moderate or Slow Pace?
- [] Choose two pokegirls to be out with you.

[] Stay here for the night
- [] Speak to someone (Who?)
- [] Try to repay Father Uriah somehow

48: Possession

[] "I think I'll wait till my girls are done. I'd like to talk to them first."

---------------------------------

The pokewoman shrugs. "Suit yourself, then."

She stays for a little longer to give you a quick checkup. After confirming that your body is fine and as healthy as expected, she gives a satisfied nod and leaves the room to fetch your girls.

Alone once again, you slump back into the bed. While you're grateful for the help, you're honestly not sure what exactly happened in those woods. Your mind buzzed, head throbbing painfully as you tried to recall your memories. Everything seems so blurry now...

"Bl- Mistress! You're awake!" Isabella called as she entered the room, looking rather relieved to see you sitting up.

"Bout time," Lamina grumbled, slinking in behind the Witch. "Thought you were gonna sleep for ages. I didn't hit you that hard."

"Mistress." Thana nodded as she stepped in, ducking slightly so that she wouldn't bang her head on the door frame.

"It's good to see you all," you smiled. "But can someone please tell me what the hell happened in those woods?"

Isabella looked away, seemingly unable to meet your gaze as she shuffled awkwardly from one foot to another.

Lamina scoffed, rolling her eyes as she leaned against the wall. "Well, everything kinda went to shit." she began. "I hadta knock you out, then we went chasing after the mouse. There was this crazy big fight, then somehow we managed to stuff two pokegirls into one pokeball. Then we wandered around for a bit before I led everyone to this place. Knocked on a door, got directions to the nearest healer, and here we are."

"Ok. Stop. Hold up a minute." you frowned, pinching the bridge of your nose as you felt your headache worsen. "Back up a bit. You did what with a pokeball? And where is Ana, anyway? Is she still hurt?"

"Status unknown." Thana said flatly, the Dragonqueen standing straight and rigid, hands at her sides as if she were on parade. "As for the pokeball, I am unsure how it actually managed to contain both Ana and the Ghost possessing her. By all rights, the ball should have broken, expelling both of them and allowing us to subdue the feral while it was stunned."

"So what happened to the feral?" you asked, already dreading the answer.

Isabella flinched. "Well, they're... still kinda stuck together. We can't figure out how to get the Ghost out."

"The mouse is acting all feral-like now," the Armsmistress said, raising an arm to show you a line of pale, barely healed scars. "Nasty business. She kept trying to attack anyone who gets close, so the priest dude had to stick her back into her pokeball. He's drawing some kinda magic circle thingy in the basement."

"Wait, what?" you gasped, forcing yourself out of the bed. Isabella and Thana rushed to your side, looking concerned as you tried to walk forwards on too wobbly legs. Luckily, Thana was fast enough to grab your shoulder before you could fall flat on your face. "Thanks, Thana. But we need to get down there now!"

"Huh?" Lamina frowned, "What's with the rush?"

"I don't know who this priest guy is, but I'm not letting anyone do some weird magic on one of my girls when I'm not there." you said, glaring at the unimpressed looking Armsmistress.

"I suppose it's a good thing I decided to get your permission first then." a soft voice declared. Standing at the doorway was a tall, pale looking man wearing what seems to be an elaborate version of a priest's uniform. A pair of white, Bunnygirl like ears peeked out over his head, twitching slightly as he spoke. "You're Blue, right? It's good to see you're awake again, though I'm afraid that I have some bad news for you."

-----------------------

Ana sat in the middle of the room, hunched over in a circle of glowing runes. The normally quiet and meek Woodmouse you knew had changed drastically. She hissed and spitted menacingly as you approached, red eyes gleaming with violence as she lunged forwards, only to squeal in pain as the markings painted onto the floor flared and forced her back.

"Yep. Pretty sure that's a Banshee." the bandaged pokegirl spoke up from her position at the doorway. If Ana managed to escape the circle, she would move to subdue to Woodmouse as quickly as possible. Until then, she stayed as far away from your possessed pokegirl as possible, glaring at her every time she tried to break out of the magical prison. "Not many Ghosts have their particular brand of nastiness."

"Most unfortunate," the priest sighed. He'd introduced himself earlier as Father Uriah, though he mentioned that you were free to call him David if you wanted. "Normally the Ghost would have fled by now, but this specimen seems particularly stubborn. Or perhaps the pokeball interfered with its morphic field somehow? Most unusual..."

"So can you... can you change her back?" you asked, unable to tear your eyes from the... the thing wearing Ana's body. It paced its prison restlessly, occasionally stopping to hiss and glare at one of the other people in the room.

"I'm sure I can. But with a situation like this..." Father Uriah shook his head. "There are a number of options available. My reagents are limited, but I think we should have enough to give it a try. As the pokegirl's tamer, you of course have the final say."

[] Just... just get rid of her. That's not your Ana anymore.

[] Give her to Father Uriah. You can't afford to stay here for too long and he should be able to deal with the ghost problem by himself eventually, right?

[] Appeasement ritual. Try to calm down the Banshee and convince it to move on and leave Ana's body. Unfortunately, this Banshee seems particularly stubborn, so the chances of success aren't as high as you'd really like.

[] Exorcism ritual. Force the Ghost out of Ana's body immediately. It will place a lot of stress on your pokegirl's body, possibly even killing her.

[] Mass Exorcism. Father Uriah calls in a few friends to help. While they'd definitely be able to solve the problem, he warns you that it will take a few days for them to arrive and that they'd be expecting payment of some kind before conducting the ritual.

47. Lost and Found

Head towards a main road while looking for shelter. Whichever we find first we take.

Avoid contact with other humans unless absolutely necessary, last thing we need is some opportunistic prick wanting to steal someone while Blue's out of it.

Priority should be avoiding ferals though.

-----------------------------------------------

Unfortunately, without a guide to lead their way, the three pokegirls soon found themselves hopelessly lost.

"Ah, dammit. It's that stupid log again," Lamina groaned, pointing at a familiar looking sight. The large, rotting log in front of them looked wholly unremarkable apart from three lines cut into its base - the same lines that the Armsmistress had left the last time they'd passed this place. "I told you we were going in circles."

Beside her, Isadora pursed her lips, glancing worriedly up towards the sky. The sun was still up, but none of them knew how much longer they'd have daylight. Already, the shadows were lengthening, making it harder to find their way around.

"We need to keep moving," Thana insisted, their tamer still carried gently in her arms.

"Alright, alright," the former gladiator rolled her eyes. "This time we'll go... this way!" she declared, pointing at a random direction.

Isadora blinked. "We just came from there," the Witch pointed out.

"Okay, so we'll go this way instead," Lamina said, marching off in the opposite direction. The two remaining pokegirls shared a look before sighing and chasing after their... overenthusiastic companion.

A few moments later, they heard Lamina shout something from somewhere ahead of them. Picking up the pace, the two pokegirls sprinted forwards, already prepared for the worst - and paused, mouths gaping as they realized what the Armsmistress had found.

"Told ya I'd find the way out," Lamina smirked, visibly enjoying the looks on their faces.

--------------------------------------------

Blue awoke slowly, groaning at the throbbing in her head. Slowly, carefully, she forced herself up, blinking in confusion at the unfamiliar surroundings. Before she could do anything, she herself face to face with a tall pokewoman of some kind, dressed in a nurses uniform with bandages wrapped around most of her face.

"Here, drink this," the pokewoman ordered, shoving a glass of something dark and unpleasant looking into her hands. "Well? What are you waiting for?" she arched a brow, all but daring the young tamer to resist.

Blue took a tentative sip, then blanched at the taste. "What is this stuff?" she croaked, trying to hold it at arms reach.

The nurse rolled her eyes. "Medicine. Finish it. Now." she growled, her hoarse voice making it clear that it was not a request.

Making a face, Blue swallowed the entire glass in a single gulp. Before she could do more then gasp at the now burning sensation in her throat and stomach, another glass was pressed into her hands, this time filled with cold water instead.

"Feeling better now?" the healer asked, watching as she gratefully gulped down the refreshingly cool water. "Good. You're lucky your girls are smart."

"What... where are my pokegirls?" Blue frowned. "Where am I, for that matter?"

"Meadowood Village," the pokegirl sniffed. "We don't get many visitors here. My master and I are the closest thing this place has to a pokecenter. Your girls are downstairs getting healed."

"How are-"

"They're fine. Probably better then you, to be honest." the nurse interrupted. "Honestly, tamers these days... why the hell were you wandering off the main path?"

"It... seemed like a good idea at the time?" Blue offered. The nurse snorted. "A good idea, she says. Why I oughta..."

"Marie! Is our guest awake yet?" a man's voice called from somewhere outside the room. The nurse paused, poking her head out the door. "YEAH! SHE'S UP!"

"Good! Let her know that her pokegirls are going to be done soon."

"SURE!" the pokewoman turned, eyeing Blue carefully. "Well, you heard the man. You feel ready to head down now, or do you wanna wait till your girls are done first?"

[] "I'll go down now and talk to your master immediately."

[] "I think I'll wait till my girls are done. I'd like to talk to them first."

46. Anticlimactic Battle

[X] Attempt to ball her. If that doesn't work, try to knock her out.

--------------------------

Suddenly, Lamina felt a flash of inspiration.

"The ball!" she cried out, trying to get some distance between herself and her possessed opponent. Is she drooling? Urgh, gross! "Get her ball now, you idiots!"

Realizing what she was planning, Thana put down their tamer and began checking the pokeballs on her belt. "Not this one... this is mine..."

"Hurry up already!" the Armsmistress growled, hissing as the Woodmouse drew another nasty gash along her arm. The Witch began chanting once again, sending a fizzling bolt of darkness flying towards the mouse. The possessed pokegirl jumped back to avoid the spell before turning and glaring at the magic user with eerily glowing red eyes.

"Here!" the Dragonqueen shouted, tossing the pokeball at the mouse's direction. The possessed girl's eyes widened in recognition, her body already turning to run. But it was too late.

The Woodmouse yowled in rage as she disappeared into a beam of red light, ghost and all. The ball twitched violently, shaking uncontrollably as its prisoners tried to escape. It shook once, twice, three times before stilling.

The quiet beep of a successful recall echoed throughout the clearing, causing all three tame pokegirls to sigh in relief.

"W-Well, I'm glad that it worked," Isadora panted, resting her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath.

The Armsmistress glared at the ball, resisting the urge to poke it suspiciously. "What the fuck kinda bullshit was that?! When did the mouse get strong enough to fight me head on?"

"She was possessed," Thana noted blandly as she stood protectively over their tamer. "The Ghost might have been making her body stronger then usual."

Lamina sighed, sheathing her sword once more. "Makes sense, I guess," the former gladiator acknowledged, rubbing her arm uncomfortably and wincing as blood began to ooze out of her cuts. "Damn, that's probably gonna leave a scar. Hey, pass me a potion or something, would ya?"

"So... what do we do now?" Isadora asked, glancing over at their tamer uncomfortably as Thana tossed a P-Med towards the winged pokegirl. "Will Blue... will she..."

"She'll be fine," Lamina rolled her eyes, injecting the medicine into herself with a hiss of pain. "I didn't hit her that hard, ya know."

"She's a human," the magic type pointed out. "Your idea of 'hitting hard' may not exactly match what she's capable of handling."

The Armsmistress scoffed. "Oh please. You think this is the first time I've had to fight a human? We used to get exhibition matches every week! Trust me, I know what I'm doing."

"She's right," Thana grudgingly noted. "No blood, no cracked skull. Just a bit of bruising and a nasty headache when she wakes up."

"Well, that's all well and good, but what're we supposed to do now?" the Witch huffed, glancing at the sky warily. "I'm not sure what time it is, but I don't like the idea of wandering around the woods in the dark.

"Well, right now we should...

[] Stay here and wait for Blue to wake up.

[] Make our way to the main road immediately.

[] Look for some kind of shelter.

45. A Ghostly Encounter

[] Lamina is right. We need to find this feral and rescue Ana.

---------------------------

Having decided to hunt down this enemy, the trio carefully made their way through the woods. Lamina took point, the Armsmistress eagerly charging ahead in search of her foe. Thana was in the middle, their still unconscious Tamer slung unceremoniously over her shoulder. The Dragonqueen had clearly not been happy to get outvoted, but nevertheless understood that they needed to stick together in order to survive.

Isadora took up the rear, the worried looking Witch glancing around frequently, as though afraid that something might jump out of the shadows at any moment.

Though they tried their best to track down their opponent, it was clear that none of the three pokegirls were suited to the task. Lamina and Isadora were both self confessed city girls with no idea how to survive in the wilderness, while the grim looking Thana was too busy worrying about their injured tamer to offer much support.

Fortunately for them, they didn't need to look so hard.

"Gah! It's nearby." Lamina grunted, feeling that oppressive presence bearing down on her again. Her mind was filled with whispers, old voices and half forgotten regrets creeping back into her thoughts to distract and demoralize her.

Shaking her head, the Armsmistress did her best to ignore the visions. It was a lot harder this time, though - she had a feeling that her previous success in shaking it off had been more of a fluke then anything else.

Behind her, Thana's eyes narrowed. The Dragonqueen glanced around suspiciously, eyes peeled for any sign of danger as she easily shrugged off the mental attack. "Ghost type." she hissed. "I've felt this before. It's a Fear Aura."

"Y-You don't say?" Isadora muttered through chattering teeth. The Witch was swaying slightly, obviously affected by their unseen enemy. "But why is it so cold?"

Suddenly, Thana's head snapped to the side, eyes widening as she spotted something moving towards them. "Ambush! Two o'clock!"

"What? Where?" Lamina barely managed to get her blade up in time to block the attack, causing her attacker to jerk to the side and hiss menacingly. "What the shit?!"

Snarling like a madwoman, Ana lunged towards the Armsmistress once again, the Woodmouse managing to draw blood due to the swordwoman's shock. Before she could press her advantage, she was forced to jump back to avoid a Mystic Bolt from an enraged looking Isadora.

"She's being possessed!" the Witch cried.

"Careful, this ghost is strong." Thana warned, shifting her mistress' weight so that the Dragonqueen would be able to use her own body to block any attacks aimed at Blue.

"Can we get it out of the mouse?" Lamina asked, circling the red-eyed Woodmouse warily. "Cause if we can't I'm probably gonna have to kill her."

"Maybe." Isadora said, charging up another Mystic Bolt. "If we knock her out, the ghost will be forced to leave her body."

Suddenly, the possessed pokegirl charged forward once again, all too sharp claws just barely glancing off the Armsmistress' armor. "Hrk!"

"Too risky." Thana declared, watching the winged pokegirl fend off the rabid Woodmouse. "Better to kill her now. Her death will also damage the ghost."

[] Hold back. Try to knock Ana unconscious so that the Ghost will be forced out of her body.

[] Go all out. If you kill Ana, the Ghost will definitely be damaged in the process.

44. Striking Out

Hunt this thing down. Maybe get the Witch out to help, hopefully she'll be able to keep her head with whatever's going on.

------------------------------------

Nobody messes with your head and gets away with it! You're gonna find this bitch and teach her a lesson she won't forget!

... of course, you can't exactly fight while carrying your mistress. That's just asking for an accident. And you're pretty sure she's not one of those who're strong or tough enough to deal with being in a pokegirl battle.

Ugh. Humans. Why do they have to be so squishy?

Luckily, you spot the balls hanging at her belt and realize that you don't have to be the one carrying her. You grab both the filled balls, releasing their contents.

"What did you do?!" the Witch gasped, staring at the tamer's unconscious form slung over your shoulder. The dragon just stood there, arms crossed and frowning disapprovingly. You smirked, tossing the human over to her.

"Some crazy feral decided to attack us. I'm going to go hunt it down." you explained. "Now just sit here like good girls and wait for me to come back, yeah?"

"The tamer's safety is paramount." the dragon rumbled. "We should return to a safe location and find medical attention for her."

You shrugged. "Well, whatever it is managed to mind-whammy the mouse. Pretty sure the boss'll be upset if we don't try to get her back."

"I guess..." the magic type muttered. "Perhaps we could split up? One of us takes the mistress back, the other goes after the feral?"

"Bad idea." the Dragonqueen said bluntly. "Splitting up is death. We need to stick together."

You snorted, tapping the weapon at your waist impatiently. "Well, why should I listen to you? Last I checked, you ain't the Alpha of this little group."

The dragon type bristled, shooting a glare which you ignored with the ease of practice. "Fine." she grunted. "Witch. You have been with this tamer the longest. What do you think she would want us to do?"

The young magic user hesitated. "Well...

[] Lamina is right. We need to find this feral and rescue Ana.

[] Thana is right. We should get to safety as soon as possible, even if it means abandoning Ana.

43. A Voice in Your Head

[] Go North, but get some safety distance between you and the river where ferals are likely to hide and hunt.

-------------------------------

After a moment, you decide to keep moving north, following the river until you find a place that's safe enough to cross. Going deeper into the wilderness might be a bit risky, but at least you won't have to worry about random challengers.

Ignoring Lamina's groans, you tell your Woodmouse to lead the way. Ana is eager as always, her tiny form showing you the quickest and safest path forwards, though you notice that she chooses a path that puts a healthy distance between you and the river's edge. You can't even see the river, though the sound of rushing water nearby lets you know that you're still on course.

The three of you push on, struggling past the increasingly thick undergrowth as you move. The deeper into the woods you go, the more abundant the flora becomes. The trees grow to massive sizes, blocking out the sunlight and casting everything into shadow. The bushes are no better, growing so large and thick that Lamina's sword needs to be used more then once to hack a path through. You can hear birds singing, but the sound seems muted, almost as if it's being swallowed up by the woods all around you. The air itself seems thick and cloying, pressing down on you as if it knows that you don't belong.

Is this what the wilderness really felt like? Your high school camping trips were nothing in comparison, even after two of your classmates had disappeared one night.

Here, there were no chaperones, no adults, no safety measures of any kind. Just you. Alone. All alone. Nobody would miss you. Nobody would care if you were gone. Nobody would ever... would ever...

[Saving throw passed by ally!]

You yelped in pain as an armored fist struck the back of your head with a loud clang. "You back with us, Mistress?" the Armsmistress drawled, looking completely unrepentant.

"What was that for?!" you growled, clutching at your aching head. Were you bleeding?! Oh, god! What if you got infected? You could die out here! All alone, with no one to-

Clang!

"Stop hitting me!"

"Then stop letting it get in your head." Lamina shot back, her sharp eyes darting from one shadow to another. "It's already got the mouse. I can't afford to let you wander off by yourself either."

"Mouse?" you blinked, your thoughts feeling strangely... heavy. "Ana? What's wrong with-"

"I dunno what it is, but we need to get outta here ASAP." the former gladiator said. "Mousy girl's wandered off somewhere. I thought she was taking us on a safe path or something, but she's just leading us deeper into the woods."

"What... what do you..." you... weren't feeling so good. What was going on?

"Can you hear the river?" Lamina asked. "Cause I can't."

You blinked slowly. Huh. That's right. Where'd the river go? And why was it so important, anyway? You already knew where you needed to go, after all. You just needed to... to...

Clang!

Blue collapsed, unconscious.

The Armsmistress sighed, lifting her tamer over her shoulder. "Dammit. Now I'm getting a headache. Goddamned magic types. Now, normally I'd let the tamer do the thinking, but it's obvious that you're in no condition to plan. Right now, the best thing to do is..."

[] To hunt this thing down. Nobody messes with my brain and gets away with it.

[] Find that stupid mouse. She's the only one of us who knows how to travel in the woods.

[] Fuck this shit, I'm flying outta here. Gotta get the tamer to safety. The mouse will just have to take care of herself.

42. Wilderness Walking

[] Go off the beaten track. A bit riskier, but at least you won't have to deal with challengers

[] No. Keep Ana and Lamina out

-----------------------------

The two students you'd met earlier seemed alright. Well, one of them had seemed nice. The other guy looked like he needed some serious anger management classes. Still, you've got no intention of wasting time battling random people - you've got to get to Raymond's Rock and meet up with Red!

With that in mind, you tell Ana to lead you off the main road. It'd be a little riskier, sure, but at least she could help you avoid most of the problems a young tamer might run into while alone in the woods. The mouse type seemed all too eager to get moving, diving into the undergrowth like she was born for it. Fortunately, she made sure to keep the pace slow enough for you to keep up.

Beside you, Lamina tromped along grudgingly. The Armsmistress was obviously out of her element. She'd refused point blank to remove any of her armor, and the clanking and creaking as she forced her way through the underbrush and hacked apart anything in her path was making quite a racket.

Fortunately, fate seemed to be smiling on you. Despite all the noise Lamina was making, you encountered no ferals during your walk. In fact, about an hour after leaving the camp, an excited looking Ana pointed you towards something interesting.

"Berry bush!" the Woodmouse squeaked, looking pleased with herself. "Still ripe!"

[Mind Check: 59 83 + 5 (Academic Dabbler): 88]

Peering closer, you identified these particular berries as Rasapples. The white flowers could be used to cure paralysis while the ripe reddish fruits can be used to remove burns. Unfortunately, it seems that a hungry feral's been through here recently - most of the flowers are gone, while the only fruits available are tiny and hard to reach. Still, you gather as much as you can, feeling a little guilty about leaving the bush bare and empty behind you.

[Gained: 1 Rasapple Flower, 3 Red Rasapple Berries]

A short while later, you can hear the sounds of rushing water over the tromping of Lamina's feet. Sending Ana ahead to scout, you confirm that there's a river nearby. It's a bit too fast and deep to risk crossing, but you could always journey along the banks until you find a place that's safe enough to wade through.

[Mind Check: 4 13 + 5 (Academic Dabbler): 18]

You have a bad feeling about staying near the river for some reason, but you can't quite remember why. It's probably nothing important.

What do you do?

[] Go upstream (north), deeper into the forest
[] Go downstream (south), heading back towards the main road

41. Meeting New People

[] Be friendly. Maybe they're nice people?

------------------------

"Hi there!" you call, waving as you approached the pair. "Got room for any more?"

The tamers glance at each other for a moment, then nod. "Sure!" the girl smiles.

The two of them happily share their meal - half-stale sandwiches. A veritable mountain of them. It's not the best meal you've ever had, but at least they've got plenty to spare. Even your pokegirls are surprised to have a plate shoved into their hands.

"Just eat," the boy grunts. "Our backpack's broke. Don't know what went wrong, but now all the food we packed is going bad."

"Toldja we should have had it checked out earlier," the girl chided. "But nooo..."

"Yeah, yeah," he said, waving off her concerns. "Anyway, I'm Brian, she's Betty, and we're from Port Bismal. Just started our journey a few months ago, though we haven't managed to get any badges just yet."

"I'm Blue, from Charlesville Town. These are Ana and Lamina." you said, pointing towards each of your pokegirls as you introduced them. "I just started a few days ago, myself."

Betty smirked, standing up as she reached for the pokeball hanging on her belt. "Ooh, a newbie, eh? What say we-"

"No." Brian interrupted flatly. His sister turned, pouting at his interruption.

"But Briaaan!"

"No, no, and no." he snapped. "We had an agreement, remember?"

She sighed, flopping back to the ground. "You never let me have any fun."

Ignoring her antics, Brian turned back towards you. "Sorry about that. She has a habit of bullying weaker tamers."

Beside you, Lamina bristled slightly, the Armsmistress' eyes narrowing at his words. "We are not weak." she spat.

Brian rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. But no matter who wins, I'll be the one stuck cleaning up the mess. No thank you."

"What mess?" you asked.

"I'm a fire specialist," Betty said, giving you a thumbs up. "My girls light up the battlefield like no one else!"

"And I'm a water specialist." Brian groaned. "Guess who has to stop the town from burning down every time someone gets too enthusiastic?"

"It was only once!" Betty protested.

"Once was more then enough," Brian replied. "Anyway, did you run into any of those dojo dorks on the way here? Last we heard, a couple of them were camping near that bridge down the road."

"Yeah, I saw them," you admitted. "They were a little... distracted, though. They let me go on without a fight."

"Lucky you," Betty groaned. "Most of those guys don't take 'no' for an answer."

"Apparently, their "sensei" is trying to set up his own gym." Brian said, "So he sent all his students out to "gain experience" by challenging people. It's a complete pain in the ass."

"Are they really strong?" you asked.

"Eh..." Betty waved her hand dismissively. "The ones with the gold belts are the seniors. They can be pretty tough, but the rest are..."

"They're shit." Brian said bluntly. "Poor discipline, poor training, only one or two girls under their command... and they're like goddamn Mosquitits, always swarming around when you just want to be left alone."

"Are they hurting people?"

"Nah, but some of those guys are real assholes, you know?" Brian rolled his eyes. "All 'honor' this and 'justice' that. Makes me want to punch someone."

"They got some kind of quota thing," Betty explained. "If they don't manage to defeat enough tamers by the end of the month, they get expelled from their dojo. A couple of them are starting to get desperate, but no one's gotten hurt yet, so the police aren't willing to get involved."

"They always stick to the main road, so if you want to avoid them, just cut through the wilderness." Brian said. "That's what we were doing."

You stay and chat for a little while longer, but after a while you decide that you can't stay any longer. Your girls seem eager to go, with Lamina in particular looking impatient to continue. Before leaving, you make sure to swap contact numbers. While you doubt you'd run into them again soon, it'd be nice to fill up your contact list a bit more.

As you leave the camping area, you consider the news they'd given you. The dojo students you ran into earlier didn't seem that much of a problem, but if there were a whole bunch of them waiting around, things might get annoying.

On the other hand, going off the main path had its own problems. Sure, you wouldn't have to deal with challengers, but there were ferals. Also, without Ana around, you were sure to get lost pretty quickly.

In the end, you decide to...

[] Stick to the main paths. Surely these dojo students couldn't be that bad

[] Go off the beaten track. A bit riskier, but at least you won't have to deal with challengers

Right now, you have Ana and Lamina out. Do you want to swap them with anyone else?

[] No. Keep them out.

[] Yes, I want... (Pick two of your pokegirls)

Part 40. Camping Out

"We have a schedule to keep if we're going to meet up with my friend (Slight blush at the mention of Red), and we can't really afford any but the most necessary of delays, such as eating and sleeping."

-----------------------------------

Lamina groans. "Mistress, I haven't had a proper fight in days now! I know you want to meet your friend again, but when are you actually going to use me for what I'm trained for?"

Don't worry, you'll be fighting Red when you meet up with her. She'd probably insist on it, actually.

"Really?" the Armsmistress asked suspiciously. "Is she any good?"

Well, her mother was a gym leader, so Red's bound to have at least some idea of how to train her girls.

"Huh. Alright then." she nodded, a distant look in her eyes. "I just hope it'll be worth all this waiting."

---------------------------

There's a designated camping area just up ahead. The sonic markers are supposed to keep it safe from ferals, but it's far from perfect. Apart from that, you might also run into other tamers looking to get some rest.
-------------------------

Normally, you'd go to the town. It's the safe option, giving you a chance to relax and enjoy a proper meal at a restaurant.

But you're a tamer now. You're wandering the wilds for the first time, a harem of powerful(ish) pokegirls at your side. While a part at you grumbles at having to eat outdoors, the rest of you is elated at the chance to try something new.

Besides, even if you burn the food, you can still eat the energy bars, right?

About half an hour later, you spot the sign. A blue triangle inside a square - the mark of a designated camping area surrounded with sonic markers.

Leading your team off the main trail, you soon find yourself in a large clearing in the middle of the woods. A medieval looking well has been built in the center, its simple rope and bucket mechanism allowing access to fresh water. A number of scorched circles on the ground shows where people have made fire pits in the past, and just to the side you spot what appears to be a berry bush of some kind.

There are also a pair of tents set up nearby. The owners are sitting just outside, enjoying a picnic together. From their similar appearance, you're guessing that they're siblings of some kind. You don't see any pokegirls around, though you do spot the pokeballs clipped onto their belts.

Your pokegirls stiffened as they spotted the other humans, though they relaxed slightly as they realized that they didn't seem to be an actual threat.

"S-should we try talking to them?" Ana squeaked, looking a little nervous at the prospect.

"Hmph. We're eating out here?" Lamina huffed, ignoring the other tamers. "Hope you don't expect me to help. I'm a city gal, born and bred. Got no idea how to cook anything outside a proper kitchen."

How do you want to deal with the other tamers?

[] Leave. You're not interested in dealing with other people right now.

[] Be friendly. Maybe they're nice people?

[] Be aloof. Ignore them and stay on the other side of the camping area.

[] Be daring. Challenge them to a match!

Part 39. But it failed!

[] Um, not now. I'm kinda in a rush...

--------------------------------

The other woman shrugged before waving you on. "Ah, fair enough then."

A loud crump booms from where the two male tamers are fighting, followed by a strangled cry. The woman sighed. "Go on, then. I need to make sure those two idiots don't get carried away."

Deciding to take her advice, you and your girls hurry across the bridge. Ana looks relieved, though you can't help noticing Lamina dragging her feet a little and sending occasional longing glances towards the fighting.

Once you're out of sight of the bridge, the Armsmistress turns towards you. "So... why didn't you want to fight them? Those were just trainees, so I doubt they'd have anything too powerful. We coulda taken them on easily."

[] Response?

----------------------

You've been walking for a few hours now. Though none of your girls show signs of lagging, you're beginning to get a bit tired. You're only human, after all, and as your rumbling tummy reminds you, it's almost lunchtime.

Checking the map, you can see a few possible places to rest.

[] There's a designated camping area just up ahead. The sonic markers are supposed to keep it safe from ferals, but it's far from perfect. Apart from that, you might also run into other tamers looking to get some rest.

[] It's a bit out of your way, but there's a village nearby that you can rest in. It's too small to have a proper pokecenter, but you're sure that there'll at least be an inn or something where you can relax and find some grub.

[] Forget resting. You're strong! You're tough! Keep pushing on and try to cover as much ground as you can.

38. Trainee Kelly Challenges You To Battle!

Let's check it out. Keep out our mouse and the armsmistress and approach to ask whats going on.

Keep alert on case of potential ambush. If we're attacked, bring out everyone and get some distance between the threat and us.

No sacrifices to "stall while you get away"

---------------------------

While you're still a bit wary, these people don't seem like a bunch of Team Rocket goons. Cautiously, you step out into the open, Ana and Lamina at your side.

Unfortunately, it seems that everyone else is too busy to pay attention to you.

The rough looking tamer in green looks a little too smug for your liking. "Look," he drawled. "None of you said anything about not allowing switching. I won fair and square."

The two people on the bridge seem less then amused. The man in particular is fuming as he shouts at his opponent. "Fair and square?!" he spits, "You wretch! If you had any sense of honor, you would-"

"Hang on, Lionel," the woman beside him interrupted. Judging by the pokeballs on her belt, she was almost definitely another tamer rather then a pokegirl. Her clothing looked similar to her companion's, if a little more elaborately designed. "We have company."

"What?!" the man growls, glaring at you. "More cheating scum, here to rob us of our hard earned money?"

The guy in green coughs. "Speaking of which, I believe you still owe me-"

"Silence!" the martial artist demands, pointing dramatically at the other tamer. "I will not stand for this insult! I challenge you again! Double or nothing!"

The guy in green smirks, pulling a brightly colored pokeball off his belt. "Well, if you're that eager to get your ass kicked, who am I to complain?"

"Boys..." the female martial artist muttered, rolling her eyes as she approached you. "Hey there, stranger!" she calls. "Sorry about the mess. I'm afraid Lionel tends to get a little too worked up by these challenges."

So what's going on here?

The woman gestures at her uniform. "Well, as you can see, the two of us are trainees from the Silent Fist gym. As part of our training, we're supposed to test ourselves against other tamers, which is why we're challenging anyone who wants to cross the bridge. You interested in a battle?"

[] Sure!

[] Um, not now. I'm kinda in a rush...

[] No thanks. But could I stay and watch your friend's battle?

37. Checking it out

Get close enough to check on the situation but not enough to be seen or get within range from a random attack.

We'll decide what to do then.

----------------------------------

"We don't have enough information," you decided. "Ana, do you think you can get us closer without being seen?"

The Woodmouse bit her lip, glancing at everyone nervously. "Um, maybe?" she squeaked. "It'd be a bit difficult, though... If it's just you, I could do it. With everyone..." she gestured at the winged Armsmistress, who was almost bouncing with excitement. "Might be tricky."

In the end, you decided to keep your other girls in their pokeballs for now. Ana led you off the path, the Woodmouse walking slowly and carefully to make sure you could keep up. The two of you moved parallel to the road, trying to stay close enough to follow it easily while staying far enough to avoid being easily spotted.

A few minutes later, you heard the sounds of fighting in the distance. A series of explosions rattled the woods, growing louder and louder as you approached, until finally it climaxed into a massive BOOM that knocked over a few trees and caused the ground to shake.

Finally, you got close enough to get an idea of what was happening.

On the ground, a pair of pokegirls were slumped over in a pile, both of them covered in bruises and burns. A youngish looking pinkette fretted over them. Judging by the glow, you guessed that she was some kind of magic user.

In front of the bridge, a pair of humans dressed in identical uniforms stood guard, both of them looming over a rather disheveled looking traveler as they argued about something.

"-completely out of bounds!"

"Well, nobody actually said I couldn't do that-"

"- don't play semantics with us! If you had even the slightest bit of common sense-"

"- quit bitching just cause you lost. I know how you assholes work!"

Hmm... should you really get involved with this?

[] What do?

36. A Difficult Decision

[] Moderate Pace: Don't need to rush, but you don't want to dawdle either. (Average travel time and average chance of random encounters)

-------------------------

In the end, you decide that there's no need to rush ahead. You keep your group moving at a steady pace, making sure to rest every so often to avoid wearing anyone out, not that any of your pokegirls seem to need it.

Ana in particular seems to have perked up considerably since leaving the city walls. The little Woodmouse has taken it upon herself to act as the group's scout, disappearing into the underbrush and returning to warn you of any dangers on the road ahead.

Halfway through your second day of travel, you're almost leisurely pace is interrupted as Ana bursts out of the bushes along the side of the road, looking more panicked then you've ever seen her.

"Fighting!" she squeaks out. "On road ahead. Two groups of people. I think they're trying to kill each other!"

Your other pokegirls look worried, murmuring among themselves.

"Bandits?" Lamina barks out, the Armsmistress looking almost gleeful at the chance to fight. "If we hurry, we can still catch them!"

"Too dangerous." Thana disagreed, shaking her head. "We don't have enough information. I say we avoid them."

"But someone could die!" Ana exclaims, looking horrified at her harem sister's callousness.

"Not our problem." Isadora shrugged. "I say we go around them."

"Doesn't matter what we think. Mistress has final say," Thana noted before turning to face you. "Your commands?"

[] What will you do?

--------------------------------

A.N: You are really lucky that Ana can scout for you.

35. Hitting the Road

[] Spend time with one of your pokegirls
- [] Armsmistress. Go eat, find out who she is, what she likes, etc. Tame her.

[] Spend time with one of your pokegirls
- [] Dragonqueen. Go eat, find out who she is, what she likes, etc. Tame her.

[] Make a call!
- [] Red. - Give her a heads up we're going her way, and to not just run off without us or something along the lines.

[] Travel alone
- [] Stick to the main roads (safer, but takes longer)

--------------------------------------

You decide to kill two birds with one stone and bring out both your new girls at the same time. The results are mixed, to say the least.

The Armsmistress takes her new ownership in stride, though you get the feeling that she doesn't really think much about you. A few questions reveal that she's had seven different masters in the past year, being passed around as a gift to friends or relatives or as a reward from salvage battles. She'll listen to your orders well enough, but she feels no real loyalty towards you at the moment.

The Dragonqueen, on the other hand, is a very different story. She's quiet, confident, and to the point, but getting any actual information out of her is like pulling teeth. She admits that parts of her memory were erased to delete classified information, but assures you that she still remembers enough to serve as an effective trainer or combatant.

You get the feeling that it'll take quite a while before you can get either of these two to trust you completely, but at least they're both willing to listen to your commands for now.

Once you get back to the pokecenter, you make a quick call to Red, who still seems to be somewhere in the wilds. Your friend is more then happy to wait for you in Raymond's Rock, but says that she can't really afford to stay for more then a week. Plenty of time, even if you are having to travel on foot.

In any case, what kind of pace are you planning to set?

[] Fast Pace: Push yourself and your group to travel as fast as you can. (Reduces travel time, but increased chances of fatigue and negative encounters)

[] Moderate Pace: Don't need to rush, but you don't want to dawdle either. (Average travel time and average chance of random encounters)

[] Leisurely Pace: Slow and steady wins the race. (Increased travel time, but reduced chances of negative encounters)

-----------------------------

Also, what are you naming your new pokegirls?

[] Armsmistress Name

[] Dragonqueen Name

34. Preparing to Depart

[X] Name Woodmouse: Ana

[X] Armsmistress A (75, 000 SLC)

[X] Dragonqueen B (300, 000 SLC)

Current Budget: 9, 500 SLC

------------------------

This morning, you woke up with only two pokegirls to your name. An hour ago, you walked out of the Auction House with double that number.

You rubbed the newly filled pokeballs on your belt with barely concealed glee. Isadora and Ana were both wonderful, but Witches and Woodmice weren't exactly famed for their power. Now that you had a solid front liner and an experienced trainer, your harem was going to become stronger then ever.

For now, though, you had a trip to plan. Red's camping out somewhere neat Raymond's Rock, a mining town about fifty miles east of your current position. You'd definitely like to meet up with her again.

But how are you going to do it?

[Mind Check: 30 89+5 (Academic Dabbler): 94]

Unfortunately, your depleted wallet means that you won't be able to hire a flier or teleporter to take you there, which means that you'll need to travel the hard way. With so little money, you can't even afford to hire a bike or other land vehicle to take you there faster. However, there are still a few options available...

All Pokecenters have a noticeboard on their lobby where tamers can collect jobs and bounties for the local people. You hadn't paid attention to it before since you were personally too inexperienced and your harem too weak to handle any tasks worth the time. Now that you've filled up your harem a little, you're actually qualified to take on something actually profitable.

In this case, a pilgrimage group heading to the temple on Mount Lazuli. They're a fairly large group that's willing to pay for tamers to guard them on their way to their destination. The only problem is that they'll be sticking to the main roads and making stops at every town or village along the way, which means that they'll be travelling at a snails pace. At the earliest, it'd take a week for the pilgrims to reach Raymond's Rock, by which time Red would have probably moved on to somewhere else.

Another option is to join up with a group of tamers heading in that general direction. It's fairly popular nowadays, since having extra eyes and ears makes it safer to travel. In addition, a group of tamers and their assorted harems are able to fight and capture pokegirls that would be far to hazardous for you to tackle alone. Of course, that's assuming that you can get a decent group in the first place. There are always horror stories about unfriendly or incompetent tamers who can make a journey unpleasant or even dangerous for their fellow travelers.

Of course, you could always choose to go at it alone. Tamers are meant to be rugged survivalists, after all. At least, that's what they always show in the books and movies. A lone tamer, travelling through the wilderness with nothing but her wits and her pokegirls to keep her safe... You have to admit, the idea does appeal to you slightly.

Still, going at it alone is dangerous. Plenty of tamers vanish into the wilderness without a trace, their final fates rarely uncovered until long after it's far too late. Without a large group around to protect you from ferals, you'll need to be strong, careful and lucky in order to reach your destination safely.

So, how will you travel to Raymond's Rock?

[] Hire a teleporter
[] Hire a flier
[] Hire a vehicle
[] Sign up with the pilgrim group (safest available option, will take the longest time to reach)
[] Look for other tamers who're heading in the same direction and see if any of them are willing to let you join their group (wildcard option)
[] Travel alone
- [] Stick to the main roads (safer, but takes longer)
- [] Cut through the wilderness and head directly towards your destination (faster, but more dangerous)

What do you do before beginning your trip? Pick up to three. You may repeat your choices if you want.

[] Spend time with one of your pokegirls
- [] Who?
- [] Doing what?

[] Fight stuff!
- [] Ferals (chance to capture ferals)
- [] Battle other tamers (chance to meet people)

[] Make a call!
- [] Red's mum
- [] Your mum
- [] Red
- [] Gold

[] Buy Stuff
- [] What?

-----------------------

AN: Fun times ahead! You actually rolled well enough to unlock all the travel options as well as gain hints on what those options can do, but since you wiped out your budget, you can't actually afford any of the best options (teleporting and flying).

If you'd flubbed the Mind Check, Blue would have been so excited about the chance to start her adventure that she wouldn't have taken the time to think about what other options were available to her and just went straight into the wilderness with her harem in tow.

Also, if someone can find me a picture for your new Dragonqueen and Armsmistress, that'd be great. Seriously, fuck whoever came up with the Dragonqueen's description in the pokedex. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a picture that fits all those prerequisites?

And in case you were wondering, the reason I didn't bring up the noticeboard earlier is because the only jobs that you could have done were noob stuff like "Find my pet" or "Chase away these Titmice from my garden". Since you figured out a way to make something like 300, 000 SLC in a day, I decided that Blue was just not going to even bother with any of the low pay mission work that most new tamers are stuck with.
