18. Getting to Know You

[X] Talking! You want to get to know your shiny new pokegirl

Well obviously the first thing you need to do is actually meet your new pokegirl. Shopping and battling can wait till tomorrow. 

After stopping briefly to ask a passing Officer Jenny for directions, you make your way to the nearest pokecenter. 

It's much bigger then you'd expected, the two story building towering over the pokemart next door. Walking inside, yourself in a surprisingly spacious lobby. 

"Hi there!" the Nurse Joy at the counter greets you cheerfully. "Welcome to our pokecenter. How can I help you today?"

Showing her your new tamer's license, you ask if there are any rooms available. As a registered tamer, you're eligible for free basic food, board and healing at all official pokecenters, though you'll still get charged for any extras. 

"Sure!" the pink haired pokegirl chirped, swiping your card on some device behind the counter. "Room 16 is available. Just go up the stairs and turn right. Will you be needing anything else?"

Shaking your head, you accept the key card she hands over before heading up to your new room. 

The room itself is simple enough - a double bed, desk, chair and a mini fridge containing several stamina drinks, healing droughts and aphrodisiacs. A note taped to the fridge door lists down all the items and their prices as well as a warning not to drink too many within a 24 hour period.  

You dump your backpack onto the desk before sitting on your bed, rolling your starter's pokeball in your hands. 

You can't help feeling a bit nervous. Even if she has to obey your commands, there's a world of difference between a pokegirl who's willing to accept you as her mistress and one that doesn't. This will be your only chance to make a good first impression. 

Once you'll bring out your pokegirl, you'll need to decide on what kind of approach you want to use.
